Lego movies are aimed at little kids, I don't think we should be adding to a society of profane language youths. 10 year-olds know the F word and thats not good.

Yes as long you put a rating like R or PG-13 before the movie starts and a caution.
I'll do that with Resident Evil although it has hardly cursing, mostly just, damn, ass, etc. And I'll send to Jason(brickfilms, if you're ignorant and don't know) to give it a rating. ARe you Okay with that Jason? please respond. cuz you hardly ever respond to me. -Skip |

I think cussing depends on the scenario of the movie... if its a harsh environment (GTA or RE) yes bcuz lots of weird crap will happen and itd be ok but for actual kid movies probably not.
So for me im not gonna vote bcuz theres no "Depends" button, but i guess that could mean a lot of things... so ill go w/ "Scenario." |

I think putting a rating like R or PG-13 should be done with these films especially, because they're aimed at kids. Also it would'nt hurt to add why the film got the rating, language, violence, drug use, whatever..

Well i mean its like what my freind said to the dean at school today when he said dammit out load and the dean said "where did you learn that language" and he said "well who doesnt know this languge", he got satuday school... but the truth of the matter is there isnt much chance that your gonna grow up and not know what cuss words are, evry kid learns em and theres no helping it, and besides theres no stoping them from what they are going to do, they will do it either way

Quote: I think Jason won't allow my movie on Brickfilms.com because there is too much F M F Sorry, and much more of these words. I know what you thinking about me, but I don't care. I won't change it. Because the movie is set like a "real life motion film" and NOT as a Brickfilm That's the difference. So you don't like it, don't watch it

To be honest, I dont mind the swearing in the movie. You have a warning before the start of the film, which was a good idea and as you said, it was based on real life and on the games I assume, which involves swearing. If people dont like it, they shouldnt watch it. Its that simple.
I think if an appropriate warning to put on the film, I see no reason why there cant be swear words in Lego movies. |

Ok two Of my Polls Have been Knocked up in the ranks... Hmmm Weird. Well the Cuss words were for a Scenario of D-Day, But I bailed on the Idea for Cuss words because I thought, well Those Guys on Normandy did not have a lot of time to think about a cuss word. By the time They did, Their Brains were Splattered on the beach.

Indy is right, I am in 8th grade and alot of kids cuss. I think cuss words in lego movies is fine. I mean I am a kid and I hear these same words in most real movies.

I don't find too many cuss words offensive, i just think it's kinda annoying when you're tryin to hear what's going on and someone cusses every 2 seconds.
I actually don't mind cussing and I think conversations don't really sound right when someones personally trying to change around words so they're not bad. But then again, I listen to rap so... you know

What I personally find annoying is these rap songs where they've put silence in place of 'certain words'. They just don't sound the way they were meant to. Lucky for me, I don't like rap, so I'm not confronted with it too much.
Oh, and once, in a pre-internet era, I taped a version of Radiohead's Creep, where they sung "You're so VERY special". Just doesn't sound right, now that I know what should be there. Stefan. ---
