Should lego films censor foul language? |

Should lego films censor foul language? The thought of legos swearing is frowned upon by some. But why? They say they are childrens toys, but when does one stop being a child? 13, 17 years of age? Just because one does not have the body of a child does not they can not be one at heart. Legos are for the Big boys and girls too, we just play a little differently.

I was looking for an option along the lines of:
No, no censorship, but fair warning should be provided to the viewer of the film. |

yolegoman,
are you becoming obsessed with bluntmans films? Eminem once said 'We are here to entertain' if you are, obsession can be deadly, so please lay off, I'm sure bluntman would be sick and tired of people worshipping him. Bluntman is an animator, no more than the rest of us, he just does what I do and puts time into his work. I suggested no because of my next film, it will have a fair bit of swearing. then again, some of the music will have extreme language. Its all up to the warning. you must warn the viewer about it first hand Yours Truly, JarJar ![]() |

I acually think that beep sound is quite funny in movies some times, not in music vids but movies, cuz to continnually here that sound makes it hilarious, and then you couldlet the beep miss by a couple of seconds on some less harsh words

Well...
I'm quite surprised that there's even a suggestion of cussing in Lego movies at all. I don't think it's a good idea for children to be exposed to language like that. Cussing isn't something to laugh about. It's disrespectful, and it really seriously lacks class. In the old days, cussing was shocking and appalling. Now, many use it like it's just an average, everyday word. When kids are exposed to stuff like that, they often start talking like that and use it. How would it look to see three-year olds use language like that? Not very good. People should be more responsible and not let things get to that point. Children should not cuss, and nobody should. It's more understandable when they're mad, but to use it as everyday language??? That's just wrong. As for Legos being for big people too: that may be true, but that doesn't mean it should have cussing in it, especially if young kids are around at the same time. There are many wonderful movies that are popular that do not have any foul language. If the movies must have cussing, at least keep the kids away while watching it, or get one of those profanity monitors. Or what this thread is about, anyway. Yes, I think if there are cuss words in Lego movies, it should be "bleeped" out. ![]() Your problem is that I have multiple personalities. Three to be exact. Help me integrate one of them.
