Blue Screen Of Life is now a working program, waiting to be tested by other people! I know that there are still a few shortcomings, but you should realise that it is not a finished product. It's just so far advanced in its development stage that it can be used. I can't wait for your feedback: comments, suggestions, bug reports and complaints. Yours readily, Stefan EDIT: I just tested the program on another computer (for the first time), and I noticed that things went terribly wrong in step 7 of the tutorial. I have no idea what caused this. If you experience the same problem, please say so. It is this: instead of returning the average colour of the image, the result of the procedure is just some gray colour. The program works as it should on my programming computer. I stop the investigation now because I have homework to do. I will try to upload a corrected version as soon as possible. EDIT2: I made a work-around that appears to do the job. But I'm only a few kilometers away from the server it's on. And even then, my signal travels all the way through the Netherlands and back... Try entering tracert www.stack.nl in a MS-DOS prompt, and you'll see what server causes the trouble on your way. Stefan. --- YellowHead Studios. The only thing I don't like is the manual correction, which would take forever with tons of jpegs. I think this blue screen program is better than the one in axogon. The manual correction should be needed only occasionally though. It can be avoided by using higher quality screens. What was wrong with the one in the tutorial? At least these things: * The screen was not very evenly lit, and lighting changed through the scene * The colours in the screen returned in the object * The bad camera I used made things very fuzzy and unclear. You could repeat the "screen creation" step (7) a couple of times to get better results, which means fewer to no manual editing. Good luck, and thank you for trying! Stefan. PS. I went throught your tutorial last night. That is very good. It really gives a good introduction to the program. I look forward to trying it with a better screen. I'd never tried Blue screening before so it's a whole new ball game for me. Your tutorial was excellent and it did exactly what it was suppose too. Sofar I've only played about with a few frames, but in the coming weeks I will give you a more detailed discription as I plan to try to put this to some good use, thanks again, Marty
